About two weeks ago, your favorite messaging app for Windows was taken off from the Windows Phone Store by Microsoft, owing to technical issues. Now the problem has been fixed and WhatsApp is back on Windows phone store.
A number of users who use the WhatsApp app for Windows had complained that they couldn't get their messages across to other users, after being shown as sent. In reply to their complaints, Microsoft had to pulled the app out from the Windows phone store, in order to rectify it. As a result, those who wanted to get the app were not able to get it.
The app now comes with new features(They are already available to iPhone and Android users) such as chat background, improved privacy settings and custom notification tones. You can download the app here
Ah, a lady who just bought a brand new Nokia Lumia smartphone had to sell it because she couldn't download WhatsApp to her new phone---this took place three days ago. Am going to break this news to her right this moment. Hmm! Would like to see the look on her face when I tell her the app is back on the Windows phone store.
