Guess which company wants to fight its biggest investor with self-driving cars?

Uber,Google self-driving car

Uber!

When Google leads, others follow. Uber, the car riding or taxi company, is in business today because of the money Google pours into it, but the app-based transportation firm wants to take on one of its biggest  investors by developing its own self-driving cars. But Google is also rumoured to enter the ''taxi business'' with its own ''autonomous'' cars just as Uber.

To kickstart this project, Uber is partnering with Carnegie Mellon University to build a research center in Pittsburgh to build robotic vehicles---named Uber's Advanced Technologies Center---it will sited around CMU campus to be precise.

Google, which has invested $258 million in the car riding service Uber, has done so much in the development of autonomous car technology. It even came out with its own fully functional prototype of its self-driving car last year(pictured above). Uber entering the self-driving car business could put it in a fierce competition with search giant Google.
