Photos:GM takes the wraps off 2016 Chevrolet Camaro convertible in Detroit

Last month General Motors on celebrating its 50th anniversary unveiled the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro to fans who love fast rides. A month later GM has released the convertible model of the Chevrolet Camaro at the at the Motor City Casino in Detroit, for those of us who love to ride in a open car  at speeds of up to 30 miles  per hour. GM says this open model is the only one in this category to offer fully automatic operation, remote opening with the key etc.

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro convertible comes in two variants--LT and SS-- and would-be owners can pick one of three engines:a 2.0 liter turbo 4-cylinder producing 275 hp, a 3.6L V6 with 335 hp, and a V8 LT1 6.2L delivering 455 hp.Each engine is available with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.
