Google working on new ''On-body detection'' smart lock feature

Reports has it that search king Google is developing a new security feature dubbed ''On-body detection,'' that would automatically lock your Android smartphone  when it is no longer being held. In other words, it locks itself when notice that you are away or the handset is not on you.

According to the screenshots shared by  , once you have your Android phone it remains unlocked. However, if you drop it on a surface, say a table, it will lock itself because it is no longer on you---even though you give it to a friend. This is part of plans to keep Android smartphones safe and to reduce phone thefts.
