I know you won't read this: Do you retweet without reading the content?

Hey! welcome to the age of skim. Where you scan only the main information and click the tweet button right away. Personally, as a Blogger, if I say I read the content from start to finish before I click the tweet button, then  am lying through my teeth.

I know you guys are surprise this is coming out from a content creator, but that's the truth. Once I read the headline and the first paragraph, I share it or re-tweet. Sometimes, the headline alone carries the whole content. Nonetheless, I do spend some quality time reading an interesting piece.

There was a time I wrote a piece and it receives more than a thousand shares, but you know what, only 250 people ended up reading the content. That goes to show that we don't actual read the content before retweeting to our followers.

So I could confirm Chartbeat CEO, Tony Haile statement to be true. He said people don't actually read the content before re-tweeting, according to their data.
