Some German researchers, FZI , are experimenting with ways for cars to drive themselves round parking lots, look for space, park and a robot comes out to recharge them. The researchers have successfully created systems to do just that and will take an Audi Q5 or FZI for testing later this year. They would try and see if the car can drive autonomously into a garage like a human, look for a space and park itself. Watch this video below, and learn more about this at
