Google Offline Maps just made your journey much easier

Yes you don't have be in a place with network coverage to be able use Google Maps to find destinations. Yesterday at its annual Developer's conference in San Francisco, Google revealed that you would have access to its Maps and voice-based turn-by-turn navigation features anywhere in the world even when you have no internet connection at all.

It disclosed that The locations or routes you search for on Google Maps Offline will be saved to your device for  future use.So whether you are out of  network or have a weak connection or no data plan, you can still use Google Maps to get to where you are going . Google offline Maps and voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation will be available to you later this year.

This will definitely come handy when you are traveling to a new city or abroad, with no data plan or internet connection, because you  wouldn't need to connect to the internet to find the best route to take to get your destination.
