Google announces Android M 6.0, Lollipop succcessor

Google today officially announced the next version of its mobile operating system and successor to Lollilop, Android M. Google took wraps off Android M at its annual l/0 conference. The new kid in the block will make its way to your Android device later this year, armed with a gamut of new features and improvements in the area of Mobile payments, Web experience, App permissions.App links and Fngerprint support and power charging.

Apps will now only ask for permission when you use a feature, and won't ask for everything at one time.
Basically Android M is built to improve and correct the wrongs of Android Lollilop. In other words improve the quality of the platform.However Google did not say the official name or version  number of Android M we will get to know more details when it releases the new Android OS to our devices. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Google has released the developers preview of Android M for the Nexus 5, 6,9 and Nexus Player for developers, before it releases to all Androids.
