New Apple iPad air explodes in Vodafone store in Australia

Seriously, Apple should have a compensation plan in place for would-be victims of the iPad every year a new iPad  is launched.  People should take care when charging their iPad devices as it could explode when overcharge. I remember Tim Gillooley who was flung across the room when tried to pull his 8-year-old daughter iPad Mini  from the socket, but the tablet charger gave him a tip of the iceberg of  how death is.

Now in a Vodafone store in Canberra, Australia an iPad exploded, sending out burst of flames from the charging port. A Vodafone person suggests that the cause of the explosion was as a result of extreme heat, in other words, the iPad was charge for too long.  The firemen were called to put out the fire and no one was injured.

The iPad uses Lithium polymer and tends to explode when overcharge. And moreover, other devices that come with Lithium polymer batteries are no exception. That's why they come with the protection circuit.

An Apple employee went to the Vodafone office to pick up the device for proper investigation.
