Weeks after search giant Google revealed it would stop selling its Glasss smart eyewear,and going back to the drawing board for a new device,Japanese firm Sony  has made its alternative to Google Glass, the SmartEyeGlasses Developer Edition  SED-E1, available for pre-order to interested explorers, sorry developers, in the UK and Germany for $840(or £620), starting next month.

 The Sony SmartEyeGlass developer edition will come with Software Development Kit, and Sony expects developers to start making apps for its augmented reality gadget. It is a developer device, the consumer version will come on stream in 2016 for the price written above.

Unlike Google Glass that projects information to the wearer's right eye,Sony's smartEyeglass displays information like emails and notification in front of your eyes.  Here's how Sony's SmartEyeglass works
