Weeks after search giant Google revealed it would stop selling its Glasss smart eyewear,and going back to the drawing board for a new device,Japanese firm Sony has made its alternative to Google Glass, the SmartEyeGlasses Developer Edition SED-E1, available for pre-order to interested explorers, sorry developers, in the UK and Germany for $840(or £620), starting next month.
The Sony SmartEyeGlass developer edition will come with Software Development Kit, and Sony expects developers to start making apps for its augmented reality gadget. It is a developer device, the consumer version will come on stream in 2016 for the price written above.
