In 1983 Apple released the first computer with a mouse and graphical user interface, the Lisa computer. The computer delivered the goods but Apple priced it way too high. In today's dollars Apple Lisa computer would cost $21,000 apiece. What happened after? the company burried millions of unsold Lisa computers at a Utah landfill as a tax-write off.
Turns out Samsung's new Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge do have removable batteries after all... well sort of, if you're happy to deal with adhesive, a handful of tiny screws, removing the circuit board, and voiding the warranty.

The Apple Watch Edition is just too expensive at $10,000, and sales will be poor.
Seriously I couldn't believe what I saw when Tim Cook, Apple's CEO announced at yesterday spring forward event that the 18-Karat Gold Apple Watch Edition would cost interested buyers $10,000 and--wait for it--even goes for $17,000 for the most expensive models. That's a ridiculous amount of money for something that you wear around your wrists.

Imagine jogging along your favorite trail when suddenly you feel a shortness of breath and a painful squeeze in your chest. You stop… and with a flick of a finger, you instantly notify emergency responders of your situation and your location. At the same time, the notification alerts your doctor of the incident and sends your vital statistics. What enables all of this information to be gathered and transported to the right place is the combination of sensors and connectivity provided by the devices that make up the wearable Internet of Thing.

Is Intel planning to create a Google Glass competitor?
The wearable device market is still young and growing, and Intel wants to dominate the scene before its rivals like ARM enters. It already released the MICA smart bracelet. It has been reported that its chips will power the next iteration of Google Glass. And now, the leading chipmaker and italy-based Luxottica Group are collaborating to develop a smart fashionable eyewear, as part of a multi-year partnership ''deal.'' The product to come out of that deal is expected to hit consumers' wrists in 2015. Details about Intel-Luxottica deal or the smart eyeglass are scarce at the moment.
In case you don't know, Luxottica is the world's largest eyewear maker, with control of 80% of the world's eyewear brands. It is also the same company designing, manufacturing frames for Google Glass.
