Who would have thought Samsung's already developing the successor to the just released Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone. I mean the new handset was released at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain only three months ago. And went on sale in April. Samsung has not even publicly reveal sales figures of its flagship handsets --at least to prove to us that consumers like the new design.
Anyway a guy behind the @Onleaks handle shared unseen photos of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus on Twitter on Friday, which reveal a handset with a 5.5-inch(154.45mm x 75.80mm x 6.85mm) display and a larger microUSB port, instead of the new standard USB type C. The popular tipster also posted pictures of a dummy unit of the S6 Edge Plus used by an unknown Chinese maker to test the quality of the handset.
The supposed Galaxy Edge Plus looks very similar to the Galaxy S6 Edge, in terms of design. For instance it has curve edges on both sides of the screen just as the Galaxy Edge smartphone. That goes to show that Samsung is modeling the S6 Plus after the Edge.
