We told you on Sunday that BlackBerry Limited is considering releasing a new Android-powered smartphone later this year. On Tuesday, news surfaced that the Canadian BlackBerry might team up with Korean technology giant Samsung on the BlackBerry Android phone with support for its enterprise and software services.
Now, BlackBerry developer just shed more light on the rumoured Android handset from the Waterloo, Ontario-based technology company. The developer shared a photo of a BlackBerry Passport handset running Android version 5.1.0.2055 Lollilop operating system. Meanwhile, news out of N4BB has it that the upcoming BlackBerry Android-powered Slider handset unofficially known as 'BlackBerry Venice' will boasts a 5.4-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display, a 1.8GHz hexa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 808 chipset, 3GB of RAM, a massive 18-megapixel rear camera for capturing stunning photos, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera . N4BB says the BlackBerry Android Venice could come on stream in November, 2015.
