Last time we told you you could increase the memory of your smartphone with SanDisk's 200GB microSD card. Today we shall share something with those who may want to upgrade their laptop hard disk to solid state drive for higher capacity memory and higher performance.
South Korean company Samsung Electronic has launched its consumer 2TB(Terabytes) drives for those who who are into 4K UHD video editing and viewing with their laptops and desktops personal computer. The new SSDs are the 850 Pro and 850 Evo, new iterations of earlier models. But they won't come cheap so make sure your wallet is pack full of money.
850 SSD Pro will set you back $1000(or N199,000 when you convert to Naira) and the other one the 850 Evo that performs below the former, will cost you $800(or N159,200).
Housed in the same 7 millimeter 2.5inch aluminium as the previous 840 Pro and Evo models, the SSDs are already on sale in 50 countries. Samsung says consumers who buy its new 2TB SSDs will get a full 10-year warranty or 300 terabytes written.
