Microsoft has a cardboard virtual reality headset known as VR kit that is very similar to Google Cardboard but for Windows phone owners to experience virtual reality in an inexpensive way.Much Like Cardboard, which of course is made of paper and can be folded up to accommodate a Android smartphone,Microsoft's VR kit will let anyone with a Windows-powered Lumia handset into the virtual worlds by turning their phones into virtual reality headsets.

Microsoft has yet to reveal its VR Kit to the general public but it was spotted by someone at Russian site Thurrott on a page promoting a competition by Microsoft to give away the VR Kit viewer as prizes to software developers who come up with amazing apps for its VR Kit.
The Redmond-based firm is expected to unveil new products on October 6 in New York, USA, which will include new Lumia handsets, Surface Pro tablets etc and may officially let this little guys out of the bag.
