Google selfdriving car with Chrome rims
Google announced in July that its modified Lexus RX450h self-driving cars have hit the roads in Austin, Texas with its software, gathering data about cyclists behaviours,Pedestrians, driving conditions and traffic patterns. The company made it clear that safety drivers will always be in the driverless cars at all times during the test. At least to take over control by pressing the emergency stop button if something goes wrong.

On Saturday, just two months after it started testing them in Austin,Google announced its prototype self-driving cars, the ones it built from scratch to be fully self-driving, would be coming to Austin along with the company's safety drivers monitoring them as they   drive around the city .The company made the announcement at the Thinkery Museum in Austin.

What this means is that, Austinites will be sharing the roads with Google self-driving cars with  driver at the wheel. You guys will be seeing  Google self-driving cars in  the north and northeast of Downtown over the coming weeks.

The software in Google self-driving cars now detects animals according to the project head of business. Jennifer Haroon says their cars can handle animals like deer. And they won't run them over even when they show up from nowhere on to the road.

This is good! Google's vision of bringing cars that drive themselves to market by 2020 is becoming a reality. I just can't wait for that day to come.Next thing for you guys is self-driven wheelchairs   to help the disabled get around easily.
