It seems like it takes a long time to mass produce cars, and even with Tesla's 12 years of experience they can't always hit their projected production numbers. Given that fact, how can anybody expect Uber (with no manufacturing experience) to not only produce a vehicle, but to produce a self-driving vehicle, any time in the next decade? Or rather any time before other companies steal their app idea and use it for themselves?
