This is the BlackBerry Venice Slider Handset running Android Lollipop

Since news of BlackBerry producing an Android smartphone surfaced, the rumour mill has been giving us all sorts of renders claiming to be the handset.While some looks like the real deal, we took them with  a grain of salt. That is because they didn't show the handset running Google's android operating system and some concrete details.

However, someone just gave us genuine pictures of the actual handset.Vietnamese site Tinhte posted pictures of the BlackBerry Venice Android smartphone, along with some new information.This one is believed to be the real deal as it is seen running Android.See for yourself below.

As you can see in the image below, the Slider Venice is running Android Lollipop.


It has the rumoured Qwerty keyboard.This one in the picture has three rows of keys. Its 5.4-inches screen is curve and flat.

Remmenber I said some new information? This is it. The microSD card and SIM card slots  are located on top of the handset. A position usually meant for the power button.

The BlackBerry Android Slider Venice' smartphone will boasts of a 5.4-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display, a 1.8GHz hexa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 808 chipset, 3GB of RAM, a massive 18-megapixel rear camera for capturing stunning photos, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset is expected to go on sale in November.
