It is every human dream to step their feet on the red planet Mars. And it looks like this beautiful kid might be the first person to explore the red planet, at least in 15 years time.
13-year-old Alyssa Carson has been with the US space agency NASA since she was four. She will hopefully be among the first crew of NASA human mission to Mars in 2030. This intelligent kid, who can speak four languages, is the first person to have attended all three NASA’s space camps, which gives astronauts the opportunity to to experience zero gravity and space flight simulations.
She will have her father to thank for making her dreams a reality. He told her she can be whatever she wanted to be, when she revealed to him that she would like to be an astronaut. He took her to space camps to pursue that dream.
