Enraged Chinese customer buys new Tesla Model S, and smashes it in anger

No sooner had Yu Xinquan taking delivery of a white Tesla Model S than he grabbed a wrench and smashed the front windshield. Mr. Yu Xinquan smashed his $173,600 car's windshield in protest against Tesla for taking them so long to deliver the car  to him.

Mr.Yu, who said he wanted to be among the first Tesla's owners in China, had in April made a down payment of 250,000 yuan for a brand new Tesla Model S from the US with a complimentary limited-edition plate, carrying Tesla's logo, a free installation of charging equipment in his home, and that the car must be delivered to him within six weeks. But he later discovered that his car had yet to be manufactured in the US even though others had took delivery of theirs. Can you imagine that?

Again, he said that Tesla told him that his car had been seized by the country's customs due to the fact that the record number on the customs declaration statement  did not match his car identity number, which further delayed  delivery of his car.

Yes Tesla CEO Elon Musk was there but his presence felt nothing to the angry Mr. Yu Xin Quan. Though he(Elon Musk) told the disgruntled Chinese Tesla owner that his company would begin building his delayed car. “I think we've resolved that,” Mr. Musk told reporters
