PittsBurgh man used video game gun to stop a robber who sneaked into his house

To some people, especially parents, believe that kids pick up bad habits from playing ''Violent'' action games. But it appears video games accessories, like the video game gun, are starting to be of help in  times of trouble. A 24-year old gamer in Oakland, Pittsburgh used a video game gun to stopped a burglar who entered his home.

The unnamed young man was playing video games in his room when the robber sneaked  in---he couldn't hear him enter because he was wearing a headset.— until his door opened and he was confronted by a stranger. And that person was pretty surprised to see him as well.  He grabbed his fake gun(the video game gun )that was laying around in an heartbeat and held the would-be robber at gunpoint until police arrived and took him away.

The robber, 23-year old Oakland resident Kymann Freeman, was arrested and charge with burglary, criminal trespassing and in possession of a criminal instrument.

Yeah, the robber couldn't sussed it out he was being held at fake gunpoint  because, according to the PittsBurgh Public safety spokesperson Sonya Toler , the victim used a ''prop'' gun that may have nothing to do with video games.Pittsburgh public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler said that technically the victim used a “prop” gun that may or may not have been associated with the video game he was playing. The police officer’s report isn’t clear, she said, though CBS Pittsburgh believes it’s “likely” the gun was being used in the video game.

Regardless of whether or not a video game gun should be credited with warding off criminals, our hat’s off to the quick-thinking gamer for keeping his wits about him. Hope he saved his game, too.
