China Mobile finally getting the Apple iPhones in January. 2014 will be a different year  entirely and Apple too, is changing its traditional launch dates. According to reports, Apple will release its new iPhone 6 and iPad Pro in May and October of next year, respectively.

I felt sad reading Teddy Nwanunobi report on Businessday about the games played by these telecommunication operators in Nigeria, MTN, Glo, Airtel and Etisalat to rob Nigerians off their hard earned money by charging them fees for services they do not subscribe to. These mentioned telecom operators should be fined heavily by the Nigeria Communication Commission.

If we do the count down to Christmas now, we have just a week and two days to go. Christmas is at hand. That means so many shoppers are busy getting things in readiness for Christmas. As a tech Blogger, I wouldn't think the two new tablets will  make their presence known to us. No one would expect the Surface 2 and Surface Pro tablets to outsell other tablets this yuletide. But we are wrong.

1.  Setup and link your Google account, including G services like Voice, GMusic, etc.  Learn how these products link to your tablet, like saving routes in the browser GMaps and using them on the device.

2.  Install an AV product.  If you have a newer, fast device, you should go ahead and put AV on the device.  I don't see any need to pay for a product at this time.  Lookout is what I use but I am not married to that one.  These can also help locate your device is lost or stolen.

I was surprise when i read the news on CNBC that the world largest carrier accidentally listed the iPhone5S for preorder, asking customers to register their names for a 4G, but only to change the page to a general promotion after CNBC reached them out for comment. China Mobile however said they haven't reach a deal agreement with the US based company yet.

Celebrating the Christmas season and the funfair that follow it can be herculean if proper financials plans are not put in place. But you can make your celebration less stressful by taking certain steps and decisions.
