At long last, the world's most powerful phone is right here in Nigeria. Samsung has launched the Galaxy Note 4 phablet into  the Nigerian smartphone market. The phone was shown off at Ikeja City Mall over the weekend. So those of you who had been anxiously waiting to get your hands on the Note 4, can now walk in to any Samsung's authorized dealer shop and buy it for yourself.

Who would have thought that a company founded in China four-years ago,  will go on to become the third largest smartphone vendor in the world in 2014.  Xiaomi just confirmed the saying, ''it is not how far, but how  well.''
Chinese smartphone maker Xioami is now the world's third largest phone maker after Samsung and Apple, according to the latest data from research companies, IDC and Strategy Analytics.

I am not surprise at all. I knew Apple CEO Tim Cook is gay even before he publicly declared it today. Cook has always advocated for the gays, so why are you shocked that this 53-year-old man is one of them?
Bloomberg Businessweek today published an article written by Apple Chief Executive Officer Timothy Cook in which he publicly acknowledged that he is a proud gay. Yes, the old man is gay and even said being gay is the greatest gift God have given him.

The technology is being develop by a life sciences team of Google X lab--same team that built contact lenses that can tell glucose levels in tears to help people with diabetes track blood sugar.

To those of you out there who have been complaining to Google about seeing advertisements first before watching a video on YouTube, I have a message for you: Sooner or later you will be able to permanently skip or block those ads appearing in YouTube for a little subscription fee. That's according to the YouTube CEO Susan Wojcick. The company is planning  a paid ad-free subscription service to its 1 billion users. Well, probably to keep its stars happy, but would you pay?.

Well this does not come as a surprise to me. A prophet is not always honoured in its own home. But it is very sad for someone to beat you at your own game. Apple's new iPhone 6 smartphones are outselling Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 phablet in South Korea. Yes o, that's where Samsung comes from. It looks like the Koreans are not happy with Samsung.

Amazon today launched a new streaming media device known a the Fire TV stick, that allows anyone to watch videos from YouTube, Netflix, ESPN etc. when plug into a HDTV HDMI port. The new Amazon Fire TV will compete directly with Google's dongle Chromecast, which also does the same thing. The Amazon Fire TV stick will be available on November 19  for $39 only, but Amazon  new and old prime members who can have it for just $19. It  comes with its own remote control and can also be used to play video games.

Hackers are pretty smart and are taking advantage of the Ebola epidemic. They are now sending fake emails purported to be from the World Health Organization and other trustworthy agencies.But  read this and avoid them.

Just when we thought that the iPhone 6 disaster is over, another video of a guy bending the iPad Air 2 surfaced online. In the video, YouTuber Martin Macht wanted to be sure if the iPad Air 2 would bend under pressure just as the iPhone 6 Plus. And he wasn't wrong. The iPad Air 2 bends easily and even breaks--although it was still working.
How about we stop breaking expensive products for no reason!

Apple may have sold 10 million iPhone 6 smartphones and iPhone 6 Plus phablets in three days or 4 million in a day, but it still doesn't stop the Korean tech giant from selling its supersized handset, the Galaxy Note 4. Multiple reports confirm that Samsung sold 4.5 million Note 4 phablet units in the first month it went on sale. In that period, the Note 4 was only in Korea and China and so, Samsung could sell more of the device now that it is available in other nations.

An Indian---Satya Nadella--is already the Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft after replacing Steve Ballmer, so I don't see anything stopping this guy from becoming Google Inc CEO someday.

I will write it out for you guys...All the smartphone makers out there are only concerned about making more money. They don't care anymore.

We are yet to see a final consumer version of Google Glass. Am curious to know why Google has not release its wearable computer to the public, despite all the wonderful reviews written about the device. Could it be that it is not as functional as people expect?

Techno Mobile just got a major competitor. France second best selling phone brand and Europe's fastest growing phone maker Wiko Mobile, entered into the Nigerian smartphone market. Just as Xiaomi wrecking havoc for Samsung and Apple in China, so will Wiko Mobile.

I don't think Mark learnt to speak in Mandarin for five years as a hobby or just to be able to flow well with his wife's mother. You know what I think? Zucks is on a business mission and China must lift the ban on Facebook.

US company Apple is reportedly planning to set up 25 new retail stores in China in the next two years, as part of its plans to expand business in the country.

LG is using its technology to help combat Ebola epidemic in West Africa and beyond. The smartphone maker supports the UN's effort in the fight against Ebola by giving 2000 smartphones to keep the disease under control. The smartphones will be used by UN's health workers and other key personnel for interacting with one another while in Ebola-hit regions.

If you have watch the 1989 movie Back to the Future part 2, you will definitely love the scene where Marty Mcfly( real name Michael J. The remains of Finnish phone maker Nokia was finally laid to rest on Tuesday, as Redmond-based firm Microsoft officially changed the 'Nokia brand' name to Microsoft Lumia. The new name will now appear on all upcoming Lumia devices.

Florida-based Start-up Magic Leap received $542 million in funding from search king Google and other big names in Tech and business, for its project that focused on virtual and augmented reality. Actually, Magic Leap makes augmented reality glasses that project animated digital imagery around the wearer.For instance, you could see a great white shark or seahorses swimming around in your room or office. When Apple launched the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus smartphones as well as iOS 8 last month, it quickly put up a guide to help Android users switch to its iOS operating system. Rumour has it that Chinese computer maker Lenovo is in talks to acquire ''struggling and coming'' Canadian smartphone maker BlackBerry. The rumour say Lenovo could likely make an initial offer of $15 per share and closed the deal at $18 per share, as early as this week.

With having a thickness of 6.1 mm, Apple’s iPad Air 2 is currently “the world’s thinnest tablet.” According to Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, iPad Air 2 is “18% thinner than the first iPad Air“. The device packs the newest A8 processor and M8 coprocessor, which is 12 times more powerful than the original iPad. It also comes with an 8MP iSight camera (f/2.4 aperture) at the back, capable of capturing 1080p video, burstmode, panorama shots, and auto HDR. Apart from this, it also features Touch ID, the Home button-based security system that enables login via fingerprint.

Apple left everyone with their mouths wide open when it announced its fourth quarter earnings call today that it sold a staggering 39.3 million iPhones between July to September. The Cupertino, Calif-based company also said it sold 2.64 million iPods, 5.5 million Macs and 12.3 million iPads in the same period. Its net income rose to $8.5 billion and brought in $42.1 billion in revenue. Sales of the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus smartphones helped Apple to achieved such an astonishing feat.
I can imagine the smile on Tim Cook's face right now.

Just in time for the holiday season, US company Microsoft Corp is reportedly planning to release its own smartwatch ''in the next few weeks'' reports  . Microsoft's smartwatch will be compatible with Windows Phone, Android, iOS and probably, BlackBerry 10 devices. The report reveals  the wearable device will come with a battery that can last for two days under normal usage.

Apple launched the iPad Air 3 and iPad Mini 3 on Friday,  and it claims the gadget is the world's thinnest tablet at 6.1 mm---that's Eighteen percent slimmer than its predecessor, the iPad Air .It's so thin that you could place two iPad Air 2 tablets on top of the iPad Air, and you would still get plenty of space. And weighs 437 gram. It comes equipped with a  powerful processor for better gaming and a smoother experience when launching apps in the new iOS 8 operating system. This just coincides with Shebuns' on Apple new iPad Mini 3. Read what  said about the iPad Mini 3. The mini tablet is overpriced! Last year, the only difference between the iPad Air and iPad Mini 2 was screen size. Now this year, there is not much difference except for the Touch ID. I rather not by the new one.

These are the latest flagship phablets from Samsung, Google and Apple. All three phablets have large screens, amazing design and  come equipped with chips that offer high-performance. But which  of the three phablets stand out?

Search giant Google is about to reduce the burden on developer who make apps for its Android and Chrome operating systems. The company is reportedly planning to bring together Android and Chrome operating systems into a single platform, according to the  .

This is really funny and ridiculous as well! You know when  reported last month that some brands would adjust their customers' trouser pockets to fit in the new iPhone 6, I said to myself ''this is just one of Mashable's funny stories.'' But I was wrong; indeed brands are doing it.

A friend of mine recently updated her profile on Facebook, and when I wanted to make a comment, a pop-up message revealed that I could comment with a sticker---just the way I would in chat. I don't know if Facebook is just testing out the feature or it has been there for a while....

It's the best phone Samsung has ever made, and easily one of the best phones you can buy. The Samsung's phablet will go on sale in the United States this week. Let's us take a look at some  things the Galaxy Note 4 can do that Apple newest smartphone, the iPhone 6 can't.

At the unveiling of its new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 and a 27-inch iMac computer with retina 5K display yesterday, Apple also released the latest version of its Mac operating system, OS X Yosemite 10.10, which succeeds OS X Mavericks. The new Apple Mac operating system is available to download for free on the . OS X Yosemite brings with it a gamut of new features such as, the ability to send text messages, make and receive calls from your iPhone, provided you place it within range.

I love Apple products, but never knew why the Apple ipad was necessary. Yes, they are cool, but i never really thought it was something you needed (such as an ipod or laptop). Then, my dad bought my mom one for Christmas. My mom was paralyzed in a car accident 10 years ago from the neck down with very little shoulder and arm movement. She told me last night that it has been 10 years since she has been able to be excited about reading a new book because it was really difficult to turn the pages and things like that, but with her new ipad she has just enough function to slide her finger across the ipad screen, turning pages. This brought tears to my eyes, and i am so thankful my mom has found yet another way in which to obtain more independence. Thank you Apple!

At long last, US tech giant Apple today unveiled its new iPad line, a new iMac computer, a Mac mini as well as the latest version of its desktop operating system, OS X Yosemite. The iPad Air 2 is now the world's thinnest and fastest tablet at 6.1 millimeters thick.

I have never seen Apple teased details of its mobile devices before launch. This is the first time. It makes one to question whether Apple did it on purpose  or was just a glitch?

Pulling your Android smartphone out of your pocket to view notifications can be boring sometimes; especially for Google Glass wearers. Even worse, they only had to check out notifications from supported apps. But not anymore, Google today updated its wearable computer Glass with a new feature that lets you view notifications sent to your Android phone on to Google Glass. The search giant calls the new feature Notification sync and you have to do some things to make it work. Watch the video for instructions on how to set up Notifications sync for Google Glass below.

As Apple prepares to launch its new iPad line tomorrow, another tech giant Google has taken the wraps of its two new mobile devices made by HTC and Motorola Mobility, the 5.9-inch Nexus 6 and 8.9-inch Nexus 9 tablet. The two new gadgets run on the newest version of Android operating system, Android 5.0 or Lollipop, as Google calls it. They also come equipped with a turbo charger that promises to increase the battery lives of the mobile devices by up to 6 hours on a 15 minute charge.

Some people say  that internet giant Google will launch the Nexus 6 handset and Nexux 9 tablet through a blog post tomorrow, October 15. The supersized nexus handset  and tablet will run on the next and latest version of Android operating system, referred to as Android L; which would make them the first devices to come with the L OS.

This just reminds me of Amazon's MayDay button on the Kindle Fire HDX where users get to chat with an expert over video chat in order to solve a problem. Maybe Google took a page out of Amazon's book.

One of the things we do on the internet is to search for some health information---at least now that we have the dreaded Ebola virus in our midst. Google has been receiving a lot of search queries  related to health for a long time now and the search thought it's best to release a feature that would be of help to those in need of help. It is reportedly testing a new feature, very similar to Helpout, that would allow you hook up with a live, qualified doctor over video call for advice on health issues.

I told you guys  that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 will sell like cupcakes when they hit China. Last month, it was reported that Apple took 4 million pre-orders for its newest smartphones in one day; and there was alot of buzz. But it seems that's nothing compared to China.

The Apple watch will sit on the cover of the Vogue China magazine November's issue; alongside supermodel Liu Wen. In the screenshot of the Magazine above, the Chinese supermodel Liu Wen is seen wearing the Apple wearable device. The issue is due to be out on Monday. Mind you, this is not the first time Apple is marketing the Watch to Fashion Enthusiasts.
