MWC 2014:FireFox OS off to an amazing start, Mozilla launches $25 smartphone

FireFox smartphone operating system is off to an amazing start, just a year after it made its debut. The company Chief Operating Officer Joy Sullivan disclosed that sales of Firefox-powered smartphones surpass their initial targets. Eight months after they launched the first smartphone running new OS, they have expanded into 15 markets. The phones are doing well in Latin America and Eastern Europe, where people are migrating from feature phones to phones  that run the new OS.

Invasion of privacy: Streak lets you know when that email you sent was opened and the exact location it was read

Want to find out when that email you sent was read? Streak will do the job.

Streak is a Google Chrome browser plugin that allow senders see when the email they sent was read. Once you connect Streak to your Gmail account, you will be notified each time someone open the email and even tell you the exact location where the email was opened. This is bad, though.

When you send an email and was read, you will see a green eye icon that it has been read. The recipient won't know that the email is being tracked.

NatGeo show diggers uncovered Steve Jobs life time capsule buried 31 years ago

A time capsule, which was buried by late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs 31 years ago, was uncovered by NatGeo show diggers. The tube, as seen in the picture below, contains personal items used by Jobs and others such as the Lisa mouse(see picture below), six-pack of Ballantine beer and a Rubik's cube.

There really aren’t many interesting things to say about the above item. It’s not an exciting one; it’s a useful one. It charges mobile devices. Up to 4 cellphones and a tablet. So you can have the kids come home from school, plug their phones in while they go off and get the house nice and dirty and come back later to a charged mobile. You can turn it into a little charging station, tucked away somewhere central. It’s got connectors for the iPhone as well as micro USB for a host of other devices.

I have a 14-year-old cousin and we are best of friends. But one thing bothers me a lot: she doesn't seem to be attracted to technology as I am. Every time I start a conversation about technology, she never for once pay attention. She seems to care more about clothes, make-ups and, like every other ladies, men! I even tried to use tech to make what she is interested in more fun for her, but she didn't hook up at all.

Virgin Atlantic's concierge staff in the Upper Class lounge at London's Heathrow airport have begun trialling a scheme in which they recognise passengers using Google Glass, pictured. The technology can identify a customer before showing the hostess their flight information
