At the2015 Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas next week, Korean tech giant Samsung will officially remove the wraps off its series 9 2015 Edition notebook, which many expect to compete directly with Apple's MacBook Air. The Samsung Series 9 2015 Edition notebook will boast of a 12.2-inch high resolution display(2,560x 1,600 pixel) and will make use of Intel's new chips.
Samsung revealed that the its new Ultrabook weighs just 2.1 pounds and will offer 12 hours of battery life before calling for juice. The Windows-powered series 9 Ultrabook will come equipped with 256GB of SSD(Solid-State Drive) with 8GB of RAM and will be powered by Intel Core M 5Y10C Brosdwell processor.
Samsung did not reveal pricing and availability of the new Series 9 Ultrabook, but it appears the US version is called Ativ Book 9 and it costs as much as $1200 apiece . The CES 2015 kicks off next week so Samsung might reveal all details about its new ultra books.
