Japan to open world's first robot-staffed Henn-na hotel in July

She is pretty, isn't she? Yes! But she is not human; she is a robot---actroids so to speak. She can communicate well in English and other languages. She and her friends will welcome you, serve you meals, clean the room and even take your luggage to your room when you check in to Japans Henn-na-hotel starting July.

The Henn-na hotel, which is still under construction, and will begin operation in July, will be run completely by these actroids. They would be in charge of everything from cleaning, preparing and serving of meals and room service you name it.. They would also be receptionists, three would be stationed  at the front desk to attend to you, and four to get guests luggage in their rooms. Yeah, a robot has just taken your place in the hotel.

Well, forgive me for saying the hotel would be run entirely by robots. Not entirely really.  Human staff will be on ground to handle some of these tasks, if need be. You would also be able to unlock your room, not with a traditional key, but with your face by way of facial recognition technology.
