Airline passenger ''the cockpit is no place for a woman

I do not know what transpired between the passenger and the pilot. But whatever it was the passenger was so  rude.

WestJet Airline pilot Cary Steacy was shocked when cleaning staff brought a sextist note written by a male passenger named David to her.  The note reads ''A woman being a mother is the most honour, not a captain.'' We're short of mothers, not pilot WestJet.'' And ended the later by saying''PS I wish WestJet could tell me a fair lady is at the helm so I could book another flight!''

Captain Carey Steacy

Carey Steacy quickly posted a picture of the note on her Facebook page and has since gone viral. Captain Steacy has been receiving support from the public via Social media.

Captain Steacy, a mother of two, said she hopes her story inspires other women to enroll in flight schools. ''Almost every day people  I find are a little bit surprised, and I think it's just because women aren't enrolling in flight schools.

''Either because they don't think they can or they have been told that it's not for women or that they can't do. And I just hopes that that mindset can change, like it has in a lot of professions'' she said.
