Things are going pretty well for Microsoft so far this year. The company former chairman has added another feather to the company cap for reclaiming the position as the world richest man. Bill Gates was confirmed yesterday  on Forbes list of richest person as the richest man in  the world with a net of $76 billion.

The annual listing  which welcomes 268 first-time faces to the list of world Billionaires, saw G for the second time in a row. Things didn't turn up too well for Slim, his fortune went from $73 billion to $72 billion.


But the biggest earner of them all was Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. His wealth rose from $15.2 billion to $28.5 billion. If you do the maths, he made $13.3 billion in 2013 alone.

There are now 1,645 Billionaires in the world; out of which 172 are women and 492 from the U.S.
