Finally, Microsoft Office now on Apple's iPad

It is the news making rounds on the internet right now. The long-anxiously-awaited Microsoft Office has finally found its way on the iPad. Office for iPad encompasses apps such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and you can have it for free on Apple appstore. Rather than just reading it, you will have to shell out some cash to be able to create and edit document.

, who was dressed in a polo shirt and a dark jean, released the software for the iPad on Thursday, at an event held in San Francisco.

While there are a number of Office-like apps such as iWork, Evernote, Quip,Smartsheet, etc it will cost you $100 a year  to subscribe to Office 365 Home Premium and $60 for business, depending on features.

Too expensive!
