Facebook battles mobile carrier with Drones( in future)

Facebook solar-powered internet drones
Yes! that's exactly what it would be if Facebook get away with this plan. Mobile carriers in developing nations would have to strike a deal with Facebook to cut down the cost of internet access to the lowest rate and, if they turn it down, Facebook would have no choice but to release the drones.

Rumours have it that Facebook is planning to buy solar-powered drone maker Titan Aerospace for $60 million, as part of its internet.org initiative to bring affordable internet access to developing nations of the world. The report say Facebook will start with Africa and would build 11,000 Solara drones.

According to anonymous souces who are familar with the deal , said the  solar-powered satalite can stay aloft for 5 years, flying at 65,000 feet and reach top speed of 64 miles per hour. At night people could still connect to the drones since they must have stored power via their ''internal battery banks.''

Google is already using internet  balloons(project loon balloons) to deliver internet to people in remote areas. The project loon balloons stay airborne  for 100 days.
People connect to the balloons network using a special antenna mounted on their buildings.
