Nigerian Subscribers lose $5 billion annually

nNigeria telecommunication subscribers
During an exclusive interview with Vanguard, NATCOM boss Chief Deolu Ogunbanjo revealed that Nigerian Subscribers lose a minimum $5 billion(N730 billion) each year to over poor quality of service.

Chief Ogunbanjo said there was no disruption of service in Nigeria and, see no reason why these networks still refuse to compensate subscribers for providing poor quality of service.

The NATCOM boss said it's a shame that the failed to protect consumers from poor quality of service and demanded that the N647 million fine impose by the telecom body against these networks should be paid as compensation to subscribers rather than the government, saying it is far from benefiting since it does not have direct impact of QOS.
