Samsung EyeCan+ mouse allows the to use the computer with their eyes

Samsun EyeCan+ eye mouse
Samsung has just release a new mouse that allows the disabled to browse the web, write and edit documents with their eyes, the EyeCan+. The EyeCan+ mouse tracks the movement of the user's eyes and enables them to use the computer just as the able-bodied would. The device, which is a portable box, sits below the computer monitor.

The user can use the EyeCan+ mouse while sitting or lying down between 60cm and 70cm away from the computer monitor. They can scroll, copy, paste, click and even move the cursor just by using their eyes. ''First-time users will have to calibrate their eyes to the technology so it can remember their ocular characteristics.''

Samsung is not selling the EyeCan+ but will produce them in small quantities and give to charity organizations, and will also make it open-source so that other companies with similar interest can produce their own eye mouse.
