Lagos State installs 90 CCTV cameras

Good news to those living in Lagos state. They don't need to worry much about robbers as the Lagos State Government has successfully installed about 90 close circuit television cameras(CCTV) in the state. The commissioner
for science and technology, Dr.Obafemi Hamzat disclosed this at a ministerial press briefing in Alausa, Ikeja the state capital.
Dr. Obafemi Hamzat said with the help of CCTV cameras, police were able to nab a criminal who attempted to rob a lady. The cameras captured the face of the criminal and later arrested.
Speaking further, he said those who plan to destroy CCTV cameras shouldn't bother of taking a step since the location of these cameras are not known and moreover, each cameras are mounted in a way that makes them monitor each other.
