Simeon Eyituoyo ''NCC, please respect Nigerians''

Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, is proposing to enact a law that will allow security officials in the country to have access to our private communications. According to what I read,It decided to propose the law because of the  present security situation in the country. Nevertheless, I personally believe such act is an infringement of fundamental human rights.
As Nigerians, we all know how security officials behave in this country. Give them one minute of liberty, and they turned everything up and down. Some of them might even trade with our identities.
What does this mean? it means if am making a phone call, everything I say is recorded by  an ''oga at the top'', thereby giving them access to do whatsoever they so desire with my info. It is that bad.

By the way, I heard NCC is also planing to ban Blackberry service in Nigeria. Hmmm! I rest my case. But I must not fail to write this, NCC whatever you do, please put the interest of Nigerians at heart.
