Charge your iPhone with fire

Some of us like to go camping during holidays and charging our devices in the wilderness is quite a task for us. But this Biolite stove, the BaseCamp, can  charge your smartphones, tablet, handheld GPS etc.while you cook your delicious meal.

The BaseCamp works just by feeding it sticks,pines or any other form of biomass and then light it up. The heat from the fire generates 5W of electricity via a thermoelectric generators that turns a fan that send out air on the fire for improve combustion. The excess energy generated is sent to the USB port for charging tablets, phones and GPS units.

The BaseCamp has a USB light, just in case you need to see what you are cooking or for reading at night. Those who have tried out the gadget say a thirty minute charge could give five hours of talk  time.

The BaseCamp cost around $300 .
