Steve Ballmer likely to buy LA Clippers; says he is proud of new CEO Satya Nadella

Steve Ballmer is in retirement after spending thirty-four years working for Microsoft. He spent the last fourteen years as the company's Chief Executive Officer(Bill Gates was the one that urged Ballmer to join his company). Now, since he is no longer doing his job, Ballmer can be seen playing Golf, attending NBA play-offs etc. in order to keep himself busy until he figure out what's next to do.

The Wall Street Journal caught up with him before making his speech to the 1000 business-school graduates at the University of Southern California on Friday. It was a quick but interesting interview, though.

After giving WSJ a glimpse of what he would say to the graduates, and then saying he is taking a French class asides from playing Golf, likely buy the LA Clippers if the opportunity comes and would move it, not to Seattle, but for Los Angeles. ''If I get interested in the Clippers, it would be for LA. I don't work anymore, so I have more geographic flexibility than I did a year, year-and-a half ago. Moving them anywhere else would be value destructive'' he said.

When asked about his thoughts on the positive feelings investors now have on Microsoft since he left, he approached the  question by saying, ''Maybe starting with the ValueAct investment, there was an appreciation for the strength of the business we have in the enterprise.I think people can get optimistic about change.

And debug spread lies that he is jealous of Nadella. He said ''I am very proud of what I accomplished, but most importantly I'm very proud we have a replacement that the world is very optimistic about(in Satya Nadella).

Steve Ballmer is not bothered about Nadella receiving all the praises for some of the new products and changes announced.
