Facebook now gives users the temerity to pry into your love life with ''ASK'' button

Always curious to find out if that guy who makes passes at you is single or in a relationship, click the ''Ask '' button. Facebook is reportedly rolling out a new ''pry'' feature called ''Ask'' that gives users the God-given rights to request to know whether or not you are single or dating. Users who are eager to find out can do so just by clicking the ''ask'' button next to your blank relationship status.

I get it. What Facebook is trying to prove here is you have no right whatsoever to leave your profile uncompleted. So anyone who feels it is OK, whether the person is in your friends list or not, can pry into your love life.

It's not just about users getting know your relationship status. They can also request you to tell them your hometown, work place or email address.  These are not so serious as eavesdropping on peoples lives.
