Google tops Glassdoor's top 25 companies and benefits list

If you live in the United States of America and you know of someone working for a tech firm, raise your hat for him/her each time they walk past you. You know why, those guys earn big bucks and are entitled to a lot of perks(OK, I was only joking with ya)

Glassdoor, the company review site, has released its first ever list of top 25 companies for compensation and benefits. Tech firms dominated the list. Google, in particular, is the best employer for pay and benefits. Facebook and Adobe claimed the third and fourth position, respectively. See full list here.

Perks offered by these tech firms to their employees include health insurance, free all-day meals, Chiropractor, acupuncture and on-site laundry.

In terms of salary, Google pays its software engineers an average base salary of $128,000. Facebook's software engineers gets $118,000 while Adobe Quality Engineers receive average salary of $110,000.

Glassdoor based its report on US employees feedback from across all industries.
