Vision come into reality: Google,Volvo begun testing their self-driving cars in city streets

Who can be more prophetic than Bank PHB? Bank PHB( Platinium Habib Bank) predicted that one day cars will drive themselves in one of its TV commercials eight years ago( even though it couldn't predict that one day Bank PHB will change to Keystone bank). Many of us back then, doubted PHB's vision of a self-driving car. The bank workforce believed that the prediction will come to pass. And I tell you, Bank PHB's prediction has surely come to pass. have started to master the navigation of city streets.

The internet giant made this known in a blog post, accompanied by a video which shows the  self-driving cars learning how to navigate in the streets of California, USA. The takes full control from the man behind the wheel and,was able to recognized bikers, buses, pedestrians and a stop sign held by  a crossing guard. Google's self-driving cars have driven 700,00 miles since August 2012.

However,Google said it still has a long way to go towards perfecting its technology and hopefully, we could see self-driving cars on our streets in 2017.

Meanwhile, Volvo has also started testing 100 of its self-driving cars around Gothenburg, Sweden. Just like Google's self-driving cars, Volvo's own are learning to drive in the streets.
