Twitter gives you the ability to ''mute'' your annoying friends

annoying Twitter friends tweets
Do you have a friend on Twitter who constantly tweets about annoying things on your timeline but you can't unfollow? Don't worry about that annoying friend of yours; just bear with him for a little while. Twitter is reportedly rolling out the option to ''mute' your annoying friend's tweet, without having to unfollow him.

In fact, some Android and iOS said they are now able to mute their friends' annoying tweets and retweets from appearing on their timeline. But for the fact that you can ''mute'' your friend's tweets doesn't mean you have the ability to block him from messaging you or receiving tagging notifications.

Can't wait to mute or silence that annoying friend in your contact list? Simply go to his profile on your mobile app and see if you are among those selected. Click the gear icon. If you are selected the icon will appear at the top of the menu.

But experts advice you to always remember to ''unmute'' these friends so don't miss any important communication from them. You know, no matter how bad or worse a person is, you can still count on them sometimes.
